The versatile Handsling CEXevo frame is tough and durable for the rigours of cyclocross racing and fast gravel riding.
Paired with Handsling 40mm deep Hookless Tubeless CX/Gravel Wheels, the CEXevo builds up into an off-road ready bike that is light, quick and comfortable like never before.
The first of Handsling’s in-house designed frames, the CEXevo is an evolution of the championship winning CEX frame. Improvements were made to the type of carbon used, headtube and bottom bracket, resulting in a laterally stiffer frame with more mud clearance and enhanced comfort levels.
Handsling owns the moulds used to make the CEXevo, allowing full control over all aspects of production. Internal EPS moulds are used for increased carbon compaction making the frame lighter, stiffer and more robust.
The CEXevo is made from tough, high performance Toray T800 series carbon. The frame is an excellent climber, and easy to carry over obstacles and run with when the going gets tough.
Frame weight is 870g for a 52cm frame, while front fork weight is 370g.
The CEXevo has lost none of the stiffness of the race-winning CEX it replaces. We have added extra carbon where the frame needs it most, ensuring that the CEXevo is rock solid under hard efforts.
The CEXevo has no rear seatstay bridge, meaning even better mud clearance. With 33mm cyclocross tyres fitted there is plenty of clearance to cope with even the muddiest of days, and the frame will take up to 45mm tyres, making it a great gravel bike and beach racer.
One benefit of removing the rear brake bridge is vastly improved comfort levels, leaving the rider fresher for that final sprint to the finish line. That same give also aids rear wheel traction on loose ground.
The CEXevo offers stable handling to carry the rider faster and with more confidence on descents, and yet still climbs with speed and efficiency. The relaxed geometry makes it extremely stable and easy to ride fast.
New fork for 2022
The 2022 frame has a new deeper bladed fork, with a slightly increased rake, that has been designed for the increasingly standard 12mm thru axle.
