All the performance of World Tour bikes, but with more customisation and less cost. This is the verdict of a glowing review of the Handsling A1R0evoS by Cycling Weekly.
The review awarded the bike an amazing 4.5 stars out of 5, praising everything from its nimble handling to the dazzling paint job.
As bike-fanatics who grew up reading Cycling Weekly, we're thrilled to receive such a strong review from the UK's most prestigious cycling magazine.
Now more cyclists than ever are aware of what Handsling owners already know - the A1R0evoS is incredible to ride, is customised to the rider, and offers a lot of bike for the money.
Cycling Weekly's is the very first review of the A1R0evoS - the lightweight version of our race proven A1R0evo frame. Painted in Sunset Gold, the bike was equipped with Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 groupset, Scribe Core SL 50mm wheels and featured the brand new A1R0evo advanced fork. You can spec the exact same bike here.
Bike reviewer Tim Russon received the full Handsling experience of a consultation to determine his cycling needs, help going through the online builders to choose colour and spec, and a free sizing service to ensure correct fit.
To test the bike in a variety of conditions, he took the bike to the mountains of Mallorca and the pot-holed lanes of the Peak District.
He concluded: “It’s a race bike in every way, but also very composed on poor road surfaces. Step on the pedals and there’s no hint of wooliness, lust an instant response whether seated or standing.”
The review comes hot on the heels of the Handsling Alba elite women's team riding to two standout wins on their A1R0evo race bikes. First Lauren Dickson won Lincoln GP, then Kate Richardson took the overall victory in the Tour de Feminin.
Race proven at elite level and now given an almost perfect score by Cycling Weekly, it all provides a strong case for considering the A1R0evoS as your next road bike.
