Using the same moulds as for the A1R0evo, the A1R0evoS utilises Toray T1100 carbon fibre, which requires less material to achieve the same level of frame stiffness, thereby resulting in a lighter frame that is still as stiff as our race winning T800 series frame.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBoth frames were designed 100% in-house and engineered by one of the best in the business who put them through a rigorous, destructive, stress testing procedure to surpass ISO standards in factory, before being road tested here in the UK\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe UCI-approved frames are manufactured using bladder wrapped internal EPS moulds. which provide increased carbon compaction of the light and stiff Toray carbon fibre in the unique moulds owned exclusively by Handsling\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis results in a size 52 frameset weighing approximately 770g (+\/-) for the A1R0evoS, comfortably building into a bike of less than 7kgs, and 920g (+\/-) for the A1R0evo, building into a bike of less than 7.5kgs\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe frames have fantastic handling, with neutral geometry that is stable on descents, while being fast-reacting and nimble through the turns, remaining ready to respond in all situations\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe stiff and aero hourglass head tube design leads into an oversized downtube that flairs out to a full width BB86 bottom bracket shell. BB86 press fit is still the ultimate bottom bracket standard for high performance frames. Handsling refuses to compromise on this and adopt cheaper to produce threaded units\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe front fork is asymmetric in design to withstand the severe twisting forces imposed by modern discs under hard braking.
