Handsling CEXevo features in mighty Transcontinental Race

It's one of the harshest tests of rider and machinery. The epic Transcontinental Race covers more than 3,000km of brutal riding across Europe, completely self-supported.

We're proud to say that a Handsling CEXevo is among the hundreds of bikes featuring in this year's ninth edition of the fabled ultra-endurance race.

Owner Jamie Isaacs wanted a frame that was tough, lightweight, stable and comfortable. The full carbon CEXevo fit the bill perfectly. We custom built his bike at our UK workshop with Parcours wheels, SRAM Force AXS groupset and a bespoke matte green and black colourway.

Fully-loaded with bar extensions, bike bags, lights and dynamo front wheel, Jamie set off from the cobbles of Flanders on Sunday for the ride of a lifetime. His aim: to complete the race and raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support

He has already covered more than 1,100kms through Belgium, eastern France and Switzerland at about 290km a day. He's now is high in the Italian Alps approaching the first Control Point of the race in Livigno. He then plots his own course via the four remaining control points to the shores of the Aegean Sea, where the city of Thessaloniki marks the end of the adventure

Jamie is the third person in recent years to race the TCR on a Handsling bike. It's testament to the quality of our frames that they endure such heavy punishment on everything from winding mountain passes to Belgian cobbles and gravel trails.
