More on Mark's Handsling Bikes RR1 Build

This bike has filled a Diablo shaped hole. The warranty bike I received from Neil Pryde, the new Alize, never quite lived up to the twitchy and lively Diablo frameset and I have lamented it's demise ever since - even searching through eBay and other internet sources on the off chance that a 54cm frame might become available.
I won't search any longer, there's no need. The Handsling RR1 frameset offers that same lively, twitchy, nervy feel that the Diablo once did, a little kick out of the saddle and you're dust - beautiful.
The build has been a real pleasure. A balance of exceptional but affordable components perfectly suited to me and the bike, mainly chosen for durability and performance, and of course a little extravagance with the Turn Zayante Chainset.
Handsling Bikes RR1 Frame
Hunt Race Season Aero Wide Wheels
Ritchey Logic WCS Neo-Classic Bars, C220 stem and WCS 1-bolt 20mm offset seatpost
Turn Cranks, Praxis Works 53/39 Levatime chainrings and Praxis Works M30 BB for BB86
Shimano Ultegra 6800 11sp shifters, front and rear mech and cassette, and Shimano Ultegra 6800 brake callipers
Fizik Aliante Saddle

Aerozine Headset, Lizardskins bar tape, KMC X11EL 11sp chain, and Challenge Criterium Open clincher tyres
It took me a while to gather and buy all the parts, but I am glad I was patient as the overall build has become a head turner. It rides with spirit and, despite my current fitness being somewhat under par, rides with confidence.
This bike has given me the kicking I needed to get out more.
