- Handsling headset 1 1/8th to 1.5"
- Handsling seatpost clamp
- Handsling Superlight 12mm thru axles
- Available in five sizes and 20+ limited edition colours.
The frameset arrives ready for a clean, straightforward build, whether you’re upgrading an existing bike or starting from scratch.
- Handsling controls the CEXevo production process, owning the moulds and manufacturing using high-performance Toray T800 carbon.
- Internal EPS moulds are bladder wrapped for increased carbon compaction, making the frame light, stiff and robust.
- A bladed carbon fork with shallow rake gives extra toe clearance and adds stability when the course gets rough.
- 12mm thru-axles front and rear provide a solid, secure interface for disc-brake wheelsets.
- Race-proven geometry delivers stable yet responsive handling, making you feel in control on rough ground, fast descents and technical sections.
- Flexible seatstays boost traction on uneven terrain.
- Stiff headtube, bottom bracket shell and chainstays provide efficient power transfer on climbs and sprints.
- Long, slim seatstays are designed to flex slightly, taking the edge off repeated bumps and rough ground.
- Clearance for larger-volume tyres run at lower pressures provides extra shock absorption on longer rides.
- The low frame weight makes CEXevo an efficient climber and easy to carry over obstacles.
- Around 820g for a 52cm frame and roughly 350g for the fork puts it firmly in the lightweight category for carbon gravel frames.

A1R0evoG – Aero Carbon Gravel Bike Frame
The A1R0evoG is an aerodynamic carbon gravel bike frame that takes the race-proven tube shapes of our A1R0evo road frame, and reworks them for off-road cycling. With an aerodynamic profile, lightweight construction (around 880g for a 52 cm frame) and a T47 bottom bracket for stiffness, it delivers road-bike speed with the durability and handling you need for rough gravel.
Included with A1R0evoG frameset:
- Handsling headset 1.5” to 1.5"
- Handsling seatpost clamp
- Handsling Superlight 12mm thru axles
- Available in five sizes and 20+ limited edition colours.
Tyre clearance up to 55mm and stable, long-and-low geometry make it a highly adaptable carbon gravel frame. One platform can cover fast training, audax-style rides, bikepacking and race days with the right build.
- The A1R0evoG uses the same grade of carbon fibre as the A1R0evo road frame, with truncated aerofoil tube shapes adapted for gravel to balance aerodynamics and control.
- Toray T800 carbon and internal EPS/latex-style moulding are used for enhanced carbon compaction, keeping the frame light, stiff and durable while maintaining a clean finish.
- The T47 bottom bracket shell gives a wide interface for efficient power transfer and easier maintenance.
- Multiple hidden mounts are built into the frame design for mudguards, racks and extra bottle cages, so the same frame can be set up for performance, commuting or fast touring.
- Tyre clearance up to 55mm gives you scope for big-volume gravel tyres that add grip, shock absorption and ride quality on rough tracks.
- You can run narrower, faster-rolling rubber for mixed road and gravel rides or go wider for more demanding off-road cycling and loaded adventures, all on the same carbon gravel frame.
- Long, low and relaxed geometry combines with a higher head tube and stack to put you in a stable, confident position with good visibility on and off road.
- A tight rear triangle keeps your weight centred over the back wheel for traction on loose climbs and technical sections.
- A low bottom bracket and relaxed head tube angle add stability at speed and on rougher descents, while the oversized front end keeps steering precise.
- The aero-into-27.2 mm seattube, taken from the A1R0evo road frame, is designed to blend speed with compliance and still works with dropper posts when you need more control.
- Carbon layup and big tyre volume together help smooth vibrations and repeated hits, improving long-ride comfort without dulling the frame’s performance feel.
- Multiple mounting points mean you can add bags and guards without compromising the basic ride characteristics, keeping the frame usable for both everyday and event-focused builds.
- With an approximate frame weight of 880g in a 52 cm size, the A1R0evoG sits firmly in the lightweight category for carbon gravel frames while still offering serious stiffness and durability.
- The aerodynamic tube shaping helps you carry speed, so the frame’s lightweight construction and aero design work together for all-round performance.

Very positive experience highly recommend their service and bikes. Took time on my questions and excessive pondering.
I seem to have a long list of things that the Handsling team are helping out with - advice / adjustments / fitting / etc... literally nothing seems too much to ask. So in short - the whole team has been fantastic - at no point has this felt like a 'transaction' - I feel like I've got a 'family' who are as passionate about the sport as I am!
When I ride it on asphalt, I feel like I am on my road bike and when on gravel it feels as stable as a MTB. Cool!

If gravel isn’t your only ride, explore our carbon road bike frames, cyclocross bike frames, time trial bike frames, triathlon bike frames, and track bike frames.
A carbon gravel frame is the best option if you want a mix of low weight, stiffness and shock absorption. Compared with alloy or steel, carbon provides stiffness and flex in different parts of the frame, so you get efficient pedalling and predictable handling with enough give to take the sting out of rough surfaces.
A gravel bike frame is built for wider tyres, rougher surfaces and more mounts than a pure road bike frame. Geometry is usually more stable, with longer wheelbase and more tyre clearance (around 45 mm on CEXevo and up to 55 mm on A1R0evoG), plus disc brakes and room for guards or racks. Road frames favour tighter clearances and more aggressive positions for paved riding only.
Choose CEXevo if you want a UCI-approved frame that can do cyclocross and gravel racing, with clearance around 45 mm and a focus on agility and control in rough, muddy conditions. Pick A1R0evoG if you want aero tube shapes, a T47 bottom bracket and up to 55 mm tyres for more extreme gravel, fast road sections and adventure builds on one frame.
Yes. Both CEXevo and A1R0evoG are available as frame-only (framesets), supplied with key hardware like headset parts, seatpost clamp and 12 mm thru-axles. You can build them up yourself, use your preferred mechanic, or come back to Handsling later if you decide you’d like us to complete a full custom build on the same frame.
CEXevo uses a BSA threaded bottom bracket, which is easy to work with and widely supported. A1R0evoG uses a T47 bottom bracket, giving a wide, stiff interface that suits modern cranksets and is also threaded for straightforward servicing. Both standards are common and future-proof for most gravel builds.
Yes. Handsling supports Cycle to Work schemes for UK riders and offers finance-style payment options (such as instalment plans) that can be used on carbon gravel frames as well as complete bikes, subject to provider terms. That means you can spread the cost of a frameset now and decide on the rest of the build later.
If you’re buying a frameset only, Handsling can still advise on frame size and geometry using your measurements and details of your current bike. If you later decide to have Handsling complete a full build on that frame, Remote Tailored Sizing then goes further – using your fit data to recommend bar width, stem length, crank length and lever reach for a fully custom gravel bike.
