We offer a limited lifetime warranty against any manufacturing defect on all of our frames. But more than that, we are reasonable people. We are cyclists selling our products to other cyclists whom we have a natural affinity towards and are keen to look after, thereby hopefully retaining them as customers.

Obviously, all cyclists crash and frames get damaged. The good thing about carbon is that you can repair it to be as good as new, without any detrimental effect to the structural integrity of the frame. We will always help riders to get back on the road as fast as possible. 

Handsling Ltd Limited Lifetime Warranty

1. Handsling Bikes Ltd, company registration number 09623816, hereby known as ‘Handsling’, registered at 

176, Franciscan Road Tooting, London. SW17 8HH. United Kingdom 

and trading from

Unit 6, Oakhanger Farm Business Park, Hampshire. GU35 9JA, United Kingdom 

provides the following Limited Warranty concerning Handsling frames.

2. Limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects
1. Subject to the following limitations, terms and conditions, Handsling warrants to the original owner of this frame that the frame, when new, is free of defective materials and workmanship. 
2. This warranty shall expire after 7 years, deemed to be the realistic lifetime of a frame, from the date of the original purchase from Handsling and is conditional upon the frame being used under normal conditions, for the designed purpose, and is properly and regularly maintained. As such, this warranty covers all usage of the frame for intended usage, including racing.
3. This warranty does not apply to paint/finish.
4. This warranty does not apply to any components attached to the frame such as aftermarket front forks, any wheels, drivetrain, brakes, seatpost, handlebar and stem.
5. This warranty is void if the frame was not assembled in accordance with Handsling’s instructions.
6. This warranty does not transfer to subsequent owners of this bicycle.
7. This Warranty is made on Handsling frames purchased directly from Handsling. In order to exercise your rights under this limited warranty, the bicycle or frameset must be presented back to Handsling, together with a proof of purchase. 
8. Should the frame be covered by this warranty, it will be repaired or replaced, at Handsling’s sole option, which will be conclusive and binding.
9. Under no circumstances does this limited warranty include the cost of travel or shipment to and from either Handsling nor the repair shop. Such costs, if there are any, shall be borne by the owner.
10. Note that this limited warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear, nor to claimed defects, malfunctions or failures that result from any of the following:
1. Abuse
2. Neglect
3. Improper assembly
4. Improper maintenance
5. Alteration
6. Collision
7. Crashes
8. Misuse
11. Handsling frames are not designed, engineered, distributed, manufactured, or retailed for use in:
1. trick riding
2. ramp riding
3. jumping
4. aggressive riding
5. riding on severe terrain
6. riding in severe climates
7. riding with heavy loads
8. any commercial activities
9. or any similar activities, as such use may damage the frame, can cause serious injury to the rider, and in all cases will void this warranty.
12. Every Handsling frame has a useful product life cycle. The length of that useful product life cycle will vary with the construction and materials of the bicycle or frameset, the maintenance and care the bicycle or frameset receives over its useful product life cycle, and the type and amount of use the bicycle or frameset is subject to. 
13. Racing and use in competitive events, trick riding, ramp riding or jumping, aggressive riding and riding on severe terrain, riding in severe climates or laden with heavy loads, commercial activities and other types of non-standard use can dramatically shorten the useful product life cycle of Handsling frames.
14. Any one or a combination of these conditions may result in an unpredictable failure of a Handsling frame that would not be covered by this warranty. 
15. As such, all Handsling frames, especially those raced or ridden hard in cycling events, should be regularly checked by a bicycle mechanic for indicators of stress and/or potential failure, including cracks, deformation, corrosion, paint peeling, dents, and any other indicators of potential problems, inappropriate use, or abuse. These are important safety checks and very important to help prevent accidents, bodily injury to the rider and shortened useful product life cycle of a Handsling frame.
    
    
3. Handsling does not authorise anyone to extend this warranty. 
1. All of the remedies available to the owner are stated here within. 
2. Handsling accepts no liability for death or personal injury as a result of a negligent act or omission by the owner or owner’s appointed frame maintainer.
3. Handsling limits its liability under this warranty to the original purchase price and in no circumstances shall Handsling be liable for incidental or consequential damages.

4. Handsling Manufactured Products Only
   1. As stated above, this warranty does not apply to any components attached to the frame such as aftermarket front forks, any wheels, drivetrain, brakes, seatpost, handlebar and stem. Any parts added to Handsling frames to make complete bikes using the online bike builder customisation tools or being specced by a member of the Handsling staff on behalf of a customer or being an example build on the handslingbikes.com website, are subject to the manufacturer’s warranty for that specific product.

5. Disclaimer
1. All other remedies, obligations, liabilities, rights, warranties, express or implied are excluded to the maximum extent permitted  by law. 
2. If any provision of this warranty is found unenforceable, only that provision shall be stricken and all others shall apply.
3. THE OWNER’S STATUTORY RIGHTS ARE NOT AFFECTED BY THIS WARRANTY.
