What size frame do I need?
Check out our Fitting page where there is a step by step guide to get the right fit. You can also submit your measurements here.
We can estimate your frame size based on your height. Or, with measurements from your present bike, we can size you more precisely. This will include our recommendation of bars, stem and headset spacers. Head to our step by step guide or we will email you instructions.
What are your lead times on new orders?
Each bike is custom-built to match the rider’s size and specifications. Some frames are painted to order before being assembled into complete bikes, which may impact lead times. The current estimated lead time is 4-6 weeks.
Do you manufacture frames or wheels for rim brakes?
No, only disc brake bikes and track bikes (no brakes) are available.
Can I test ride a Handsling bike?
Yes, you can arrange a test ride at our Hampshire workshop. Book an appointment.
PLACING AN ORDER
Do your prices include tax?
For customers in the UK, VAT is included in the price and shipping is calculated in checkout.
For other countries, taxes, duties, and shipping are calculated at checkout.
What form of payment do you accept?
Credit Card, Apple Pay and Cycle to Work schemes
Do you offer financing?
Finance options are available through Cycle to Work schemes and Splitit. With Splitit you can ride now and pay later by spreading the cost of your new bike over 6,9 or 12 months at 0% interest. Terms and Conditions apply.
Do you offer Cycle to Work schemes?
Handsling bikes are available via Green Commute Initiative, Cyclescheme, Cycle Solutions and My Benefit World. More information can be found here
COLLECTION & DELIVERY
Does my bike come fully assembled when shipped
From out the box, attach your seat post and wheels and you're ready to ride.
Why is my order not ready for collection / delivery yet?
We are sorry for the delay to your order. Please email sales@handslingbikes.com and we will look into the matter.
Can I pick up my bike from the workshop?
Yes, collection from the workshop is possible. Please contact us to arrange a collection date and time.
What are your workshop opening hours?
The workshop is open weekdays from 9am-5pm. We occasionally open on Saturdays by appointment only.
What are the parking options available at the Handsling workshop?
Parking is available opposite the workshop entrance and elsewhere on the Oakhanger Farm Business Park site.
MAINTENANCE & REPAIRS
How often does my bike need servicing?
Handsling recommends a service check after three months and minor services every 12 months thereafter, depending on useage.
