Cycle to Work Schemes
For UK customers, employer Cycle to work schemes are a great way to save on the cost of a new bike and spread the payments interest free. Regular monthly amounts are taken directly from your wages so are free of income tax. It’s easy to set up and Handsling can guide you through the process.
The above schemes can be used on Handsling Bikes
All Handsling bikes are custom built to order. This means they are subject to a deposit* when purchased via any Cycle to Work scheme. This is so we can confidently paint your frame and start to build your bike. It is your commitment to us that you are serious about buying the bike, and is part of the price of the bike. The potential savings using cycle to work are typically between 25%-47% of the overall bike price (depending on your tax bracket). There’s more information on each scheme below, as well as how the order process works.
Process To Order
Step 1
Contact us to discuss your order, and agree on your spec. Handsling will provide a quote (via email) showing the value of your bike, and therefore the value of the voucher you need to request via your employer.
Step 2
You will be charged a deposit (usually £300) required to start painting your choice of frame and hold components. Details of how to pay will be included on your quote.*
Step 3
Request the voucher from your employer.
Step 4
We will paint your frame and then start to build your bike.
Step 5
Pass your voucher to us ahead of shipping / collection.
Step 6
Enjoy your new bike!
*The deposit is fully-refundable if you change your mind up until the point at which we paint your frame. Once the frame is painted, it becomes non-refundable. It will be retained if you proceed with your purchase. If you decide not to proceed and we have already painted your frame, it covers the cost of us stripping your frame of the paint.

How to Order?
1. Whilst in store select your applicable items to establish the exact value you require.
2. Place your order via the Vivup portal by simply entering the quote and store name you received to
create your order
3. Once your order has been submitted, await approval and authorisation from your employer
4. You will then be contacted to arrange collection or home delivery
