Following a standout 2025 season, the Handsling Alba Development Road Team will roll into 2026 with an expanded roster and renewed ambition; supported by a major equipment upgrade.

Throughout 2025, the team raced on the Handsling A1R0evo, our in‑house designed, race‑proven road frame. The UCI‑approved chassis blends speed, comfort, and responsiveness with neutral, confidence‑inspiring handling. Its aero‑optimised tube profiles and all‑round race capability made it the ideal platform for breakaways, bunch sprints, and the hard, aggressive riding that delivered the team’s most successful season to date.

For 2026, the team is doubling down on the “Development” ethos in its name and stepping up to the A1R0evoS.
The A1R0evoS is Handsling’s ultimate road racing frame. Built using the same moulds as the A1R0evo but constructed from ultra‑high‑modulus Toray T1100 carbon fibre, it retains the A1R0evo’s renowned ride characteristics: lightweight climbing performance, stability on descents, and razor‑sharp cornering. The upgraded carbon layup reduces weight while still exceeding ISO standards and maintaining full UCI approval.

Handsling will supply the Handsling Alba Development Road Team with A1R0evoS frames for racing, alongside A1R0evo frames for training and spares.

And if you want to experience the same performance as the team, you can. Every Handsling frame is available with extensive customisation options, allowing you to build a bike that’s truly your own.
