Jakroo‑Handsling A1R0evoS stolen, but the team rides on!

You may have heard how the Jakroo-Handsling Racing Team had one of their A1R0evoS bikes stolen off the roof of their team vehicle while it was parked in West London.

The incident took place in a residential street in Putney in March. Two men wearing black clothing and face coverings approached a team vehicle on a moped. CCTV footage shared by the team shows one of the thieves climbing onto the car and ripping the bikes from a locked roof rack. When confronted, one of the men threatened a team manager with a knife before fleeing with a red Jakroo‑Handsling race bike. A second bike was left destroyed but still attached to the rack.

The team has urged anyone who may have witnessed the robbery or seen attempts to sell a distinctive Handsling A1R0evoS to contact the authorities.

Despite the shock, the team has emphasised that their determination remains intact. As a small, independent squad racing across Britain and Europe, they rely heavily on community backing to keep providing opportunities for talented domestic riders. To help recover from the loss and continue their 2026 race programme, they have launched a fundraising raffle.

Prizes include a JHR Alpha XPO jersey, OTE nutrition bundles, Overfast carbon thru‑axles, a Roubaix London premium service, JHR caps and accessories, and more. Every ticket contributes directly to replacing stolen equipment and supporting the team’s race calendar.

Raffle entry options:

• £1 for 1 entry

• £5 for 7 entries

• £10 for 15 entries

Supporters can also gain free entries by subscribing to the team’s mailing list or tagging two friends on the Instagram post. New Instagram subscribers receive an additional ticket after purchase. The raffle closes at 23:59 BST on 10 May 2026, with winners drawn shortly after the Lincoln GP.

The team is encouraging the cycling community to share the news, enter the raffle, and report any information that may help recover the stolen A1R0evoS.

They may have taken a bike — but they didn’t take the team’s spirit. Jakroo‑Handsling are still here, and still racing.
