DAS-Handsling's Monica Greenwood sprinted to victory at the Sheffield GP on her Handsling A1R0evo road bike.
Held on a brand new 1.4km circuit, the racing was fast and furious from the off. Monica and one other escaped from the bunch and dominated the race before the DAS-Handsling rider powered home in the sprint on her Silver Bullet frame.
It was a superb team performance in a prestigious British Cycling National Circuit Race Series race, with U23 rider Emma Jeffers finishing in the top five.
The team praised the handling and responsiveness of their carbon bikes on the tight, twisty circuit that included some cobbled sections.
DS Simon Howes said: "It was great to see Monica with her arm in the air crossing the line in first - truly deserved. The commitment she shows to her racing and training is exceptional, I’m delighted for her.
"Our goal for the race was to achieve a togetherness way of racing. Supporting, encouraging and motivating each other throughout. This we definitely achieved."
