At Handsling, we’ve never been fans of compromise. The traditional cycling "rules" suggest that if you want to be fast on the road, you need a twitchy aero bike, and if you want to explore the trails, you need a heavy, upright gravel machine.

We decided to break those rules. The result is the A1R0evoG—a frame that combines the wind-cheating speed of our flagship road racers with the rugged, go-anywhere spirit of a gravel bike.

Designed in the UK, Engineered for the World
The A1R0evoG isn’t just another open-mold frame with a logo slapped on it. It is the product of years of internal R&D by Handsling Director Simon Whiten, designed from the ground up to handle the unique demands of British "B-roads" and technical trails.

To bring this vision to life, we worked in close conjunction with one of the top carbon fiber engineers in Shenzhen, China. By combining our British design philosophy with their world-leading expertise in high-modulus carbon layup, we achieved a frame that is:

Ultralight: Weighing in at approximately 880g, it rivals many dedicated climbing road bikes.

Structurally Superior: We utilise Toray T800 carbon fiber and advanced EPS internal molding. This process uses latex-wrapped internal molds to ensure higher carbon compaction and perfectly smooth internal walls, eliminating the weak spots and "dead weight" found in cheaper frames.

Speed on the Tarmac
Don't let the "G" in the name fool you—this bike is fast. The A1R0evoG utilizes the same truncated aerofoil tube profiles found on our UCI-approved A1R0evo road frame.

When you’re tucked into the drops on a long stretch of asphalt, the bike slices through the wind with the efficiency of a pure-bred racer. Integrated cable routing keeps the cockpit clean and further reduces drag, making it the perfect choice for fast club runs, sportives, or even your local crit.
