Another beautiful custom painted RR1, this time for the owner of cycling holiday company, Viva Velo.
Dyll wanted to significantly raise the front end of the bike to start with, so we used Deda's excellent headset system to literally extend the headtube. It maintains the bike's beefy look while allowing Dyll a comfortable position which he can gradually lower overtime.
Dyll wanted something totally unique and the understated blue-grey colour, combined with naked gloss carbon panels, really stands out.
Naturally we made sure that the Viva Velo logo is prominent to maximise publicity when he is cycling around with his clients.
The bike is finished with Ultegra Di2 electronic groupset, though Dyll uses Rotor's oval chainrings in place of the standard Shimano units. He also uses Deda 35 bars and stem and has both a pair of Handsling 30mm wheels for hilly days and a pair of Handsling 56mm wheels for flat rides. Sorted no matter where in the world he is cycling that week!
Above Dyll demonstrates how light his bike is.
