Meet the Team: JAKROO–HANDSLING RACING

In December, Handsling proudly announced its title sponsorship and role as official frame supplier for a brand‑new British Elite Men’s squad: JAKROO–HANDSLING RACING. The team will campaign a full calendar of National Road Series and National Criterium Series events, major domestic races, and selected UCI 1.2 and 2.2 fixtures across Europe;  all aboard the race‑proven A1R0evoS.

The team launch took place in London, where riders collected their striking new JAKROO kit and rolled out on their racing‑red A1R0evoS bikes for a ride with supporters and sponsors. With preparations now in full swing, the final 10‑man roster is confirmed and is a blend of proven winners, rising U23 talent, and international pedigree.

Rowan Baker

Rowan arrives off the back of a standout season: victory at the Peaks 2 Day, second at the Cambridge Crit, second overall at the Tour of Kosovo, and a win at the East Cleveland Classic. Add multiple top‑tens across Europe and you have a rider with serious pedigree and an appetite for even more success.

Dylan Belton‑Owen

Dylan - a cherished London local according to the team - brings a multi-disciplinary flair to the roster. He won the National Series Cadence Junior Men’s Road Race in Wales (2025) and impressed in France with aggressive riding and KOM points. Now a first‑year U23, he’s ready to make an immediate impact.

Harrison Dainty

Harrison burst onto the scene by winning Stage 1 of the 360° North West Junior Tour and collecting multiple podiums in his debut junior season. With climbing strength and a bold attacking instinct, he now steps confidently into U23 racing.

Oliver Dawson

The 2024 British Junior National Road Race Champion joins after a dominant solo victory that showcased maturity beyond his years. The team is excited to support his development as he transitions into the U23 ranks.

Conor White

Conor brings international firepower to the squad. He reclaimed his Bermuda national road race title in 2025, holds multiple national time‑trial crowns, has five UCI victories and earned a bronze medal at the Pan American Games. A proven performer on the world stage; he’s now ready to unleash Bermudian horsepower on British roads.

Will Truelove

Will stormed into 2025 by winning the opening round of the U23 National Road Series and continued to rise. As the No.1 ranked British cyclist that year - across Open Elite Road and Track - he finished second overall in the National Road Series and third in the National Circuit Series. A sprint specialist with sharp race instincts, he’ll be central to the team’s ambitions.

Redmond Connoly

The team’s new Kiwi connection, Redmond represented New Zealand at the 2025 UCI Road World Championships and has raced with UCI Continental teams in Belgium and China. A strong climber with deep endurance, he’s built for the toughest British and European courses.

Tom Heal

A former Jock Wadley Memorial winner, Tom returns after a challenging year of injury recovery. Known for his aggression and flair, he also brings a large online following through his YouTube and Instagram content. As road captain, he’ll lead with experience, energy, and trademark watt bombs.

Alex Franks

Alex continues with the team for another U23 season. After national top‑tens and European podiums, he’s hungry to convert his raw power into bigger results. The squad expects a strong step forward in 2026.

Oscar Nisbett

Oscar completes the roster as a talented first‑year U23 with national and international top‑tens, including the Classique des Bourbons and Cadence National. With strengths in climbing and time‑trialling, he adds depth and versatility to the team.

With a balanced roster, elite equipment, and a shared ambition to win, JAKROO–HANDSLING RACING is ready to make its mark on the 2026 season.
