Silver at Track Nationals for Handsling-sponsored junior

This is TR3evo track bike that Handsling-sponsored Katie-Ann Calton rode to a brilliant Team Pursuit silver medal in the British National Track Championships.

Led out by Katie-Ann, team Liv CC – Halo Films finished the 4k in a time of 4:53.602 at an average speed of 49.045 km/h. They were beaten to the gold medal by a strong Brother UK team that contained several GB squad members. 

Katie-Ann's performance at the Geraint Thomas National Velodrome is remarkable for the fact that she is still a junior competing against U23 and Senior riders at an elite level competition. 

Reacting to her first Senior event and medal, she said: "I didn't really expect to win a medal as our last practice was in January. I had a great ride with my teammates and overall it was an amazing experience. I learnt so much." 

Commenting on her TR3evo, she added: "Everything was perfect, from getting aero in the individual pursuit to responding to moves in the points and scratch race."
