Sophie Lewis races Handsling TR3evo in UCI Champions League

If you've been watching the UCI Track Champions League on TV, you might have noticed a glistening pink bike standing out from the other frames. This is the Petrol Pink Handsling TR3evo of GB's Sophie Lewis.

The Champions League is a brand-new track competition that features short format racing across multiple international rounds. The league aims to make track cycling more accessible and more exciting than ever before.

Sophie features in the endurance rounds of the competition - the scratch and elimination races.

In the first round in Mallorca she finished 8th in the scratch race and 7th in the elimination, ahead of the likes of Laura Kenny and Katie Archibald. In round two in Berlin, she finished 9th in the scratch race and 12th in the elimination. Overall, Sophie is ranked 10th in the endurance standings with three rounds to go.

Now she's looking forward to racing what she affectionally calls her 'disco bike' in France, before competing in the final two rounds at Lee Valley VeloPark, London where a home crowd will be cheering her on.
