2023: Handsling Rides Through a Year of Innovation and Race Success

2023: Handsling Rides Through a Year of Innovation and Race Success

It has truly been a year to remember for Handsling. Our sponsored road race team swept all before them, multiple national champions were crowned on our frames, and we made significant additions to our model line up.

The year kicked off with the unveiling of DAS-Handsling Women's UCI Continental team. This was another important step in demonstrating that the A1R0evo has what it takes at elite level. To say the season was a success is an understatement. The girls finished the year as team and individual UK national road race series winners. Among the many highlights was live national TV coverage of Handsling riders in the breaks with top world tour teams at RideLondon Classique.

Handsling is known for its customised bikes. We created something truly unique for the prestigious Cycle Show in London. A one-of-a-kind A1R0evo Shimano Dura Ace Di2 in partnership with wheel supplier Parcours stole the show at the Jaw Droppers custom competition and grabbed headlines in the cycling press.

On the boards, the TR3evo featured at the world's biggest track events. At the UCI World Championships in Glasgow, Team GB's Millie Cass and Adam Krenek of Czechia (photo below) made their competition debuts. Our sponsored track team CWD Track (photo below) took home a haul of medals at US Track Nationals and Nations Cup.

Multiple elite national track champions were crowned on the TR3evo, including in South Africa, Czechia, and Denmark. The season peaked with three TR3evos featuring at the televised UCI Track Champions League and ended with Erik Baumann riding his TR3evo to a new Peruvian national hour record.

Away from the race scene, it was a milestone year for Handsling's product development team. After the disruption caused by the Covid 19 pandemic and acute supply shortages, we were able to focus on bringing to market new models that take us into key niche areas. The TSTRevo time trial frame, TR2evoP pursuit frame and TR2evoS sprint frame have all been officially approved by the UCI and will soon start crushing PBs all over the world.

We also made some big changes to our website with new customisation tools allowing riders to spec and visualise their A1R0evo and CEXevo before ordering. This personalised user experience and our after sales service are why we are rated so highly on Trustpilot, Google and Facebook.

2024 is already shaping up to be a memorable year. Another women's UCI team will be riding Handsling frames, we'll be revealing key athlete sponsorships in elite triathlon, and further model launches will be made across the disciplines.

We wish all our customers a happy and prosperous year ahead and hope you can join us for what promises to be a wild ride.
