Hot pursuit - Handsling launches TR2evoP track bike

The all new Handsling TR2evoP track pursuit bike has now been officially approved by the UCI, meaning it's ready to be unleashed on velodromes around the world. 

Like with all our frame models, the TR2evoP is designed in-house and is exclusive to Handsling. Our engineering objective was to create a frame that offers unbeatable stiffness, aerodynamics, toughness, and handling precision, with a bespoke adjustable carbon cockpit. 

Expanding our track model line up with a dedicated pursuit frame - and soon a purpose-built sprint machine - is a huge moment. As our name suggests, we have a long-standing heritage in track racing where our TR3evo endurance track frame has been ridden to multiple elite titles. Just this month, the TR3evo was ridden to Danish and Czech elite national championship wins. 

Securing UCI-approval on the TR2evoP comes hot on the heels of the launch of our new TSTRevo carbon time trial frame. After the disruption caused by the Covid 19 pandemic, these new releases are proof that Handsling is firmly on track to offering a comprehensive line up of frame models. 

The TR2evo is manufactured using high-performance Toray T700 carbon that provides the perfect balance of stiffness and durability. Extra carbon layup in the head tube, bottom bracket shell and chain stays provides exceptional power transfer to maximise every watt of power. 

Aerodynamic performance is enhanced by deep tube profiles, a low-slung 36cm wide base bar, bladed forks and a bladed seat post. An adjustable bespoke carbon cockpit with mono riser provides the adjustability required to achieve the perfect race position.

In terms of handling characteristics, the TR2evo provides a responsive yet stable platform that allows the rider to focus on racing with confidence. 

The TR2evoP is now available for pre-order from our website as a frameset or with your choice of top level wheels and components.

We are offering customised full builds with wheelsets by Walker Brothers, a UK brand with a strong heritage in track racing and that shares our innovative approach to design and production. 

There are various chainset options on offer - Rotor Aldhu (Alloy and Carbon), Shimano Dura Ace, Miche Pistard Air, and New Motion Labs Enduo.  All bikes are built to rider size and spec at our UK workshop using parts from Selle Italia, Deda, Continental, Vittoria and Prologo, among others.
