- Low weight makes the difference when climbing and churning through heavy surfaces
- Easy to shoulder for running sections

I ride the CEXevo at elite level cyclocross in the UK National Trophy Series. They're super light and stiff, handle well
The bike is light, which helps over cyclocross hurdles, yet stiff enough for good power transfer in differing conditions and terrain.
The CEXevo is amazing; really inspired confidence with stability blended with tight handling.
CEXevo Geometry & Dimensions
Carbon frames are manufactured in the Far East using moulds that are owned by Handsling. This provides full control over the production process and makes each and every model exclusive to the brand.

Elite CX Rider Maïté Barthels Races the CEXevo
U23 elite cyclocross racer Maïté Barthels (Luxembourg), ranked in the world cyclocross top 10, racing the CEXevo at the highest level. She even recommended the CEXevo to her sister Layla (a former Luxembourg elite road champion), who took a CX podium while testing Maïté’s spare – “light, stiff, and fast.”

Cyclocross bike frames are optimised for off road racing. Compared to road frames, CX frames prioritise tyre clearance, stable handling on uneven surfaces, and the durability to sustain punishment season after season. Road frames are tighter on clearance and optimised for sharper steering, stiffness and aerodynamics.
CX frames are designed for cyclocross courses: short, punchy efforts, tight turns, and rough ground where frame stiffness and nimble yet assured handling makes the difference. Gravel frames are built for longer, steadier rides – often with more emphasis on all-day stability and carrying speed over mixed surfaces.
Yes, a carbon frame engineered for the demands of cyclocross makes it a worthwhile investment for committed racers. The frame geometry and the way the carbon is laid up result in precise handling and fast acceleration, which are essential when racing flat out on tight twisty courses.
CX frames are also incredibly versatile, making them a high-performing road bike or gravel bike during the off season. With Handsling, you’re also not buying “just a frame”: you’re buying a race-proven carbon platform, finished in-house with 130+ paint options and backed by a limited lifetime frame warranty – so it’s a frameset you can race season after season.
Absolutely, we offer a frame respray service, so you can refresh the look later or refinish a well-used CX frameset. It’s a good option if you want to update colours/logos after a few seasons or give the bike a full “box-fresh” reset.
Yes – you can book a visit to the UK premises and arrange a test ride on one of our cyclocross bike frames. The best approach is to get in touch first so the team can line up the right model and size, and make sure you get the most useful ride time while you’re there.
