A new way to buy a Handsling bike with Splitit

A new way to buy a Handsling bike with Splitit

The rising cost of living has made investment in an elite performance bike a serious proposition. That's why Handsling has introduced a new way of spreading the cost of a bike into bite-sized chunks with no added interest or charges (T&Cs apply).

Using the global payment platform Splitit, Handsling customers have the option of placing a deposit on a bike via our website and splitting the balance payments into equal instalments.

See how it works here

The big advantage of paying via Splitit is that customers can use their existing credit card (Visa, Mastercard and American Express). This means there is no requirement for a new credit check and they can enjoying all the usual credit card benefits, including rewards, transaction insurance and protection against fraud.

The entire process of paying with Splitit is embedded seamlessly within the Handsling website checkout flow. There are no additional fees and no interest applied by Handsling or Splitit. Credit card Ts&Cs apply.

What's more, the lead time on your custom-built bike would be the same as any other payment method.

Here's an example of how paying via Splitit would work with a Handsling A1R0evo Shimano 105 Di2

  • Bike price: £4,499.99.
  • Up front deposit for first month: 25% (£1,125)
  • Spread balance over remaining 11-months: £306.81 per month

We conducted extensive research into finding the right payment platform. Splitit is the only instalment solution that lets you make payments using your existing credit card (Visa, Mastercard and American Express) and splits the cost into multiple monthly payments without charging interest.

The company, which is used by other big bike brands, has recently been included on the Financial Times list of Americas' Fastest Growing Companies 2023.

We've coupled the introduction of Splitit with lower priced spec options on several of our most popular models. Riders now have the option of fitting the brand new Handsling TLR Alloy Road and Gravel wheels (pictured below) as a lower-cost alternative to carbon hoops.

Featuring easy-to-maintain Bitex hubs and hand-built by our UK-based wheelbuilder, these tubeless-ready wheels are fast, nimble and absolutely bullet-proof. Read a review here
