Handsling goes live with new website

The new and improved handslingbikes.com website is now live.

As a direct-to-consumer brand selling bikes throughout the world, the website is our shop window and one of our main communications tools, introducing people to Handsling, showcasing the bikes and providing a key point of contact.

We've refreshed the site with eye-catching images, bike customisation tools, an interactive company timeline, information on our sponsored teams, and much more.

Smoother dropdown menus and improved filters make it easier to check availability and order bikes or frames by size and colour.

Every Handsling bike is custom built to rider size and spec. The website guides customers through the entire buying process, covering everything from initial bike fitting to paying through cycle to work schemes.

Customisation tools covering all Handsling frame models allow users to spec their dream bike with choice of groupset, wheels and finishing kit, before adding to cart.

A page is dedicated to Handsling's raceproven heritage, with inspiring images of the DAS-Handsling and Chaney Windows & Doors Cycling teams in action, as well as individual sponsored riders including Olympics hopeful Amber Joseph (below).

For those interested in the Handsling story, an interactive timeline covers key events, including the origins of the brand in elite racing, launching new frames, and sponsoring our first pro teams.

The Why Buy Handsling page provides detailed information on how Handsling designs, manufacturers and tests its frames.

These user experience improvements have made the website faster, more appealing and easier to use. It is optimised for mobile first, desktop second, in keeping with common search habits.

Crucially for Handsling's targets, the new website improves our search performance by having better indexing and quicker load times. This will enable more customers throughout the world to discover the Handsling name.
